How my journey began
My name is Elizabeth David (“Liz”) and I am originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and home for me has always been the east coast. I am proud of my cultural roots, my spiritual upbringing, and my professional experiences which have given me the ability to connect with and support a diverse group. I have a Bachelors of Science in Counseling Psychology, a certificate in Health and Wellness Coaching, and a Masters of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy.
In addition to my experience as a therapist, I have been working in the business arena for over 20 years which gave me the opportunity to understand how corporate America functions and operates. I have assisted in creating education programs, mentoring, program development, and employee empowerment. From the administrative level to executive leadership, I can see and understand what is needed to help a professional advance to the next level in their professional development.
My Coaching Style:
Do you have a plan but somehow fail to get it in motion? This is something I hear often. Yes, goal setting is important, but understanding what is holding us back and pushing through patterns of avoidance that are ingrained in us is something we can do together. Coaching will assist in providing you with opportunities to set your goals and then find ways - within yourself - to meet those expectations.
I approach coaching with collaboration, validation, and a little humor. You can expect to be held accountable for the steps and the goals you are working towards and you can anticipate finding some laughter along the way. Sometimes we just need a push start to get our paths moving to the next step.
